Today on a rainy afternoon, I went on a photowalk with No Compacts Allowed facebook group at the Bloedel Floral Conservatory. I borrowed a friends Tamron 90mm macro and used it for all the photos I took inside. It was quite a challenge as I’ve haven’t used a macro lens much before. It was also a bit cramped in there so I tried to not take up too much space with my tripod. I recommend visiting the Conservatory while you can because in the next few months you may not get a chance to if they close it down.

I love the autumn. Especially the colors. I had the unfortunate incident where I lost all my raw files for all my photos from the past 2 years. I’m trying to recover my photos from my harddrive still but things aren’t looking good. Let that be a lesson to you all to have disc backups. Went out today for a photowalk in Queen Elizabeth Park to take advantage of the fall sunshine.

A friend told me about Trout Lake this morning as a place to go shoot. After I got my haircut I had a few hours to kill before dim sum at Golden Phoenix with friends so I checked it out. This is my first time shooting there and there’s potential, however, I think it’ll be much better in the spring.

I also hit the Richmond Oval for Winterfest in the late afternoon. There was a million chinese people there. Hehe. No seriously there was a lot of asians there.

Well I’ve been sick the past few days which I’ve most likely gotten from Jade. I won’t get into the symptoms but I feel a whole lot lighter, lets just put it that way.  I was finally able to catch up on Lost and Battlestar Galactica over the weekend. This week’s episodes were great with cliffhangers at the end of the episodes. The kind that makes you go “what?! I got to wait till next week?!” I was unfortunately not well enough to do a photowalk on Saturday with some friends which majorly sucked cause the weather turned out pretty nice for that day. It’s Sunday right now and I’m still a bit exhausted. I did snap some photos of some flowers downstairs in the kitchen.

I’ve only processed one of the photos for now, I’ll do the rest later after some rest. I’m going to crawl back into bed now.
