Granville Island usually provides a great variety of things to see and photograph. Here are some shots I took a few weeks ago on an evening walk through the area.

On Saturday night, I went on a photowalk with some friends on the Granville Street bridge. It’s quite a lot higher when you’re walking over it… As you may have noticed, I’ve moved my blog to the root of my domain (update your bookmarks!). I’ve also have larger photos for viewing. On Sunday morning, I went out on a photowalk with some fellow Revscene photography forum members at Granville Island. It was a good turnout with about 13 of us taking in the sights and getting some photography practice in. Even got to check out the wonders of a 10 stop ND filter and a tilt shift lens (VERY COOL). Thanks to Jason for bringing that. Heck someone was even crazy enough to bring a 500mm telephoto lens to a photowalk (Ernie, I’m looking in your direction). We spent quite a few hours there and we didn’t even get to see everything! We’ll have to get another one going again, perhaps a night time photowalk. Here are some of my shots from that day.
