Revscene 2010 Spring Meet at Spanish Banks

Yesterday I went to the Revscene 2010 Spring Meet at Spanish Banks. Unfortunately I got there two hours late and I didn’t feel like photographing a lot since I’ve taken photos of the same cars at the last few meets. Of course I never leave empty handed.

Revscene Granville Island photowalk

January 25, 2010  |  Urban  |  , ,  |  No Comments

On Sunday morning, I went out on a photowalk with some fellow Revscene photography forum members at Granville Island. It was a good turnout with about 13 of us taking in the sights and getting some photography practice in. Even got to check out the wonders of a 10 stop ND filter and a tilt shift lens (VERY COOL). Thanks to Jason for bringing that. Heck someone was even crazy enough to bring a 500mm telephoto lens to a photowalk (Ernie, I’m looking in your direction). We spent quite a few hours there and we didn’t even get to see everything! We’ll have to get another one going again, perhaps a night time photowalk. Here are some of my shots from that day.

Revscene 2009 Summer Meet

Today was Revscene’s 2009 Summer car meet. There were quite the number of cars that came out for the event. Big thanks to the volunteers and organizers for putting on a great event!

Revscene 2009 Spring Meet

Revscene.net had its 2009 Spring Meet at Spanish Banks in Vancouver. Not having been to any of the meets I was eager to go look at cars. I used my new(used) Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens. Its such a great lens, it allowed me to get in real close and still be able to get the whole car in the shot.
