Ever since they rebuilt/renovated the Woodwards building in Vancouver, I’ve been meaning to go down there and take a look. After much procrastination I went down there and it’s a pretty nice building. There is a London Drugs there and a inner courtyard with a basketball court in it. The main focal point though is an abstract stairway that leads up to the upper floors.

Specifically the scene where Lightning Mcqueen and Sally were taking a scenic drive. I didn’t actually head out for my drive with till about 10pm and I went with dabu6o4. Its a good idea to head out somewhere with a friend especially late at night for safety reasons. We ended up driving up to Cypress Bowl, Horseshoe Bay, and Ambleside Park. Here are some photos from last night.

I will miss the iconic look that I’m use to seeing of BC Place and the big white cover that sits on top. It will take some getting used to when it is gone.

I do a lot of long exposure photographs. Its usually because by the time I get off work and get home, its pretty dark out by the time I’m ready to go shoot photos with friends. 8:00pm is our usual departure time and has become the norm. I don’t mind though because I love night photography and you shouldn’t be put away your camera because it gets too dark out. Get a sturdy tripod and go explore your city at night. You’ll come away with some of your best shots and you’ll see your city in a different light so to speak.
